it's really unlikely you contracted a std. even if you had, not likely you had damage to your body from not treating chlamydia or gonorrhea.
Sorry last question, so you're saying there's most likely no damage or infertility? Considering there was no symptoms whatsoever?
Thanks again in advance, I just want peace of mind, anxiety about your genitals is something else I tell ya.
usually damage is more for females than males. No reason for any testing to look for damage of your urogenital tract at this point.
Yes I had the hpv vaccines when I was younger. Like I said, I'm going to a new doctor to get his opinion Tuesday. But do you think if by chance I did contract either gonnorhea or chlamydia from that encounter 2 years ago that it would have done permanent damage like infertility or anything like that? Again, I've had no symptoms like severe pain in groin area or discharge.
Thanks for all you do, much appreciated.
Yes, both of those infections would've cleared on their own by now.
Have you had your full gardasil shot series to protect you against hpv yet?
The odds that you contracted a std from either of these encounters are very low. At this point, not a lot of point in testing from either encounter. Consider yourself older and wiser now and start to only have protected sexual encounters, including oral sex.

Thank you, I meet with a new doctor on Tuesday and I plan on having a conversation with him about this. But I've done a lot of reading on the professional std board and one doctor said since gonnorhea and chlamydia are bacterial infections that they usually pass after a certain amount of time. Obviously, it's much smarter and safer to get it treated if you are diagnosed but in my case I'm just looking back on certain exposures now and didn't have that option. I could be overthinking this but thanks for the advice.
Since you haven't had an stds checkup in a while you should have one to protect your partner and start fresh. Unprotected sex leads to std exposures. STDs do not clear on their own.
