No penetration, risks?

Okay so while some aspects of my story are a little embarassing, I have come to the conclusion that i need some help with a problem that has been bothering me.

To make a long story short, this past weekend I went to a party and left with a girl. We went to her dorm, and started making out, touching etc. Eventually our close came off and things got more heated. However I did not have any protection in this incidence (I have never been someone to desire one night hook-ups, so this was an abnormal situation) Anyways, we started to attempt to have sex, and I say attempt because of the fact that, since I had drank to much earlier, I could not sustain my erection. Because of this, there was never genital insertion, however there was some touching of my penis with her vagina (on the outside).

So here is my question: Is it possible that if she had an STD I could have gotten it, without penetration, and if so which STDS? (please list all STDS and which ones I could be suspect to have gotten) Thank you very much.

Thats a risk in my opinion. The lining of your mouth, eyes, genitals etc. is extremely thin and more susceptible to infection as opposed to, say, your arm :). You asked what you could have been exposed to:

-HSV (very easily)
-Gonorrhea
-Chlamydia
-HIV
-Trichomonas
-Genital Warts
-Syphilis

I'd get tested just in case, to ease your mind. Sorry, i just don't trust people with my sexual health, neither should you.

Thank you very much Grace, hearing that helps my anxiety immensely. I have not noticed any symptoms since Thursday. Just one thing though, for the STDs where there are no symptoms such as HIV, is it too unlikely that this could have been contracted to me?

you could've but the risk is way too low to make it worth any follow up testing unless you should develop any obvious symptoms.

www.ashastd.org has a full list of std's, when to test for them and how to test for them if you decide you want to pursue testing from this encounter.
