Vance-- appreciate your reply. All my tests are conclusive. I know I had no fear of catching HIV still I decided to go for.
Hello Vance-- am I good to move ahead after my testing..
Vance- today I had consulted with a doctor and explained him the situation.
After that I had gone through the following tests:
1.) HIV I/II test- Negative- even though this was not required still I did for peace of mind.
2.) Siphilis- Negative- test conducted at 38th day after the episode
3.) Gonorhea- negative
4.) Chlamadida- negative
5.) Hep B- negative
Doctors had not recommended for Herpes and HPV. As per doctor, blood test for herpes is not reliable and secondly he had not seen any sore that resembles herpes. However, he told that if something appears he will ask for that test.
HPV as per him with oral sex is very rare and with my episode he doesn't feel I will catch.
Just wanted to have your advice as well.
Thanks
It is due because you have a partner. I suggest testing of someone else is in your life because even though it is low risk is it better to be safe then sorry when we are talking about someone elses health who did nothiing wrong.
hmmm... this was my first ever encounter...now worried for the mistake made.... I understand you DEFINITELY see a RISK on the entire act.. that's why you had asked for testing.
Unfortunately, I am unable to understand how my encounter is different compared to few other folks who had also experienced the similar situation. you had never asked them for testing.
Is it because of the country? Or do you see more risk of STDs in South East Asia countries.
Thanks for your all help.
Already told you what you were at risk for and why I would test.
What are the tests you recommend ? Do I really need the testing from the situation I had explained??
I was not willing to go for a test if not necessary...
No that has nothing to do with a STD. I recommend testing just to be safe for your partner.
Vance - as scared now with the last comment. I have a partner but we perform sex only with condoms. We do unprotected oral. I can' see any penile discharge or skin abnormality. But my nasal congestion continues for last two weeks. Is that a symptom of any STD? No fever, no throat pains.. Appreciate your reply..
If you have a partner get tested, if not then no worries.
In other words.. not required as risk is low....What would be your recommendation if you were at my shoe..
Also I get this informative blog from Dr. Hunter's desk..

As per this oral sex is not vulnerable to get STDs..
Appreciate your advise.
Test if you wish the risk is low.
Do I still have those risks? Shall I go for testing??
YOu had a risk for gonorrhea, NGU, herpes, syphilis and HPV. Symptoms have nothing to do with any of those.
