Prostatitis, jock itch or herpes?

I had unprotected sex a week and a half ago for a very short time. For the past 8 days now I have had this icy hot feeling in my groin, sometimes on my genitals and alot in the creases of my hips. It comes and goes and is mostly present when I'm sitting. I have no other symptoms or sores or lesions. Nothing. However my doc has suspected problems with my prostate he said prolly some prostatitis. So do you think this problem is coincidence and I'm having problems with the prostatitis or do you think it's herpes? I've read you can get jock itch without a rash? I workout everyday at lunch and dnt get to shower. My doc thinks the prostate is causing this burning sensation. I feel it for most of the day but when I stand up or after a shower it seems to feel better or in the morning seems fine too. Thank you for the help this is a wonderful forum.

Hard to tell about the rash, but the prostate problem could be felt in the groin. Maybe try some of the jock itch cream for now.

I'm only 24 but about a year ago I had chlamydia and got it taken care of but continued to have complications afterwards hence the thought of prostatitis.

It was not oral just brief normal sex. My pee was checked and was clean I wasn't checked since that time but was checked about 3 months ago and was all clear.
