Tertiary (Neurosyphilis)

Am I the only person alive who had no idea they had been infected with Syphilis some 20 years prior to diagnosis with tertiary syphilis?  I got treated only after I had lost the ability to walk, urinate or even feel my "saddle" area.  I feel so alone with no answers available to questions such as "Will I ever get better?"  Is there anyone out there who can help me?

Search around for free clinics, follow up with the county facility something.

I had a job and insurance then...I was treated with Rocephin at a county facility and thanks to an amazing social worker, got the treatment on a charity basis...free...afterwards, insurance was used up therefore no follow up...not enough cash...

This is something you need to talk with your Dr about.
