White Coated tongue after receiving unprotected oral - are antibiotics the cause?

Received unprotected oral from a sex worker, tests come back negative for chla/gono

Whilst waiting for the results I got myself a course of antibiotics for both of the above, injection and tablets.

I've noticed that my tongue now has a white coating, my presumption is that this is oral thrush from the medicine.

Could this be syphilis? I have not noticed a sore and obviously would love to rule this out
