Received oral from a guy, do i have an std?

Okay, this all started about 5 months ago. I noticed that towards the end of July I started having a heavy, thickish, black/brown discharge with one spot of red blood. No smell, nothing. This happened while I was running pretty hard every day during the hot summer heat. This lasted for about a week. My period was July 2nd of that month, so it was not a period. Then after this discharge ended I woke up one morning and my vagina was very itchy, swollen, burning, and very red inside. It felt hot and it was VERY irritating. So my mom figured it might be a yeast infection (I use a lot of scented body washes, shampoos, shaving cream, and scented pantiliners) so she bought me an off brand of the monistat 7, which I ended up using for only 6 days and I felt fine. During this time I was very stressed out. A week later I left for vacation and again I started feeling some slight burning on the very inside of my vagina and discomfort. So I went out and bought a 3 day monistat pack and used all 3 ovules, and felt much better. Since then, I have not had any problems with itching or burning. However, this all happened approx. 3 weeks after I had oral sex with a guy. I had had oral sex with him before but he never went as deep before.

I ended up going to my dr because I also could not stop urinating but did not feel any pain associated with it. No burning, no itching, no pain. Not even with the “yeast” infection a month before, if that’s indeed what it was. They said there was an infection in my urine and I freaked out. I was with my mom and the dr asked if I was sexually active, I said no because I got scared and so she treated me for a uti, and sent me on my way. This was towards the end of august, over a month after the encounter. During this whole time I was terrified that I had a std and almost think I made myself so sick from worrying, but the infection in my urine is a mystery. So a week after I got off the amoxicillin for the “uti” I got tested for 8 stds: Chlamydia and Gonorrhea by urine and Herpes 1 & 2, Syphilis, HIV with Western Blot, and Hepatitis B & C by blood, all of which came back negative. I was so convinced that I had Chlamydia and Gonorrhea that I got re-tested a month later and the results were still negative. Could these tests have been wrong? I got tested for the first set 2 months after the encounter and re-tested for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea another month after that.

I had given this same guy oral sex several times before and he has given it to me once before. He has only been with one person before me. He swears he doesn’t have anything and that he’s clean. Never had any sores, etc. BUT, I’m still peeing often, but only when I think about it it seems, and the brown discharge comes and goes. It doesn’t smell but it’s scary how its just now happening. None of this makes sense and I’m scared. Could this just be stress and horomes? Do I have an std? I’m so scared and I spent all my money on std tests and idk what to do. This was 5 months ago so if it was something serious wouldn’t I know by now? I feel fine, no temp, nothing. Just peeing more than usual, approx. 8 times a day. Sometimes less, sometimes a bit more. Am I going crazy?

Please help :(

And thank you for anyone who took the time to read this. Sorry its so long, I’m just terrified.

Thanks for your insight. I am concerned still because I had read that HPV and Gential Warts & Herpes may cause lesions that cause irregular bleeding. What is the likelihood that I got hpv or genital warts from this encounter?

Hi

The answer to your fist question that if the test could be wrong; the answer is they are not wrong.  You have negative test from oral sex encounter, from which you didn't need these tests in the first place.    It was a good waste of resources, you should not visit this medical provider again as they are doing a lousy job.

You symptoms are more consistant with a yeast infection (not a classical STD per se).

You were at low risk for STD from what you descirbe.  Low risk means that you shouldn't worry about it, and shouldn't consider STDs as a possible cause of your symptoms.   Its rare to get a yeast infection from receptive oral sex.

Its alright that you wrote so much; just know that the more you write the less likely people will respond as we don't like to read much --unless we are really really bored.    Some of us, however have gotten good at picking up the important points ---sometimes I don't read everything,I just pick up the key words; so just write down the improtant stuff.

For anyone else reading out there please mention things like:

your exposure e.g, protected/unportected sex/oral/anal
                                      date/when you had the exposure
if you have tested for STDs
if you are male or female
and RELEVANT STD symptoms (discharge, pelivc pain,
bleeding etc.)   Things like for example "carpule tunnel sydrome"
                                      are not good symptom examples.
