Std test while on amoxicillin

I went to urgent care this evening because I've had an extremely sore throat for 5 days. It has gotten worse by the day. I of course was googling potential illnesses and realized it is completely possible I contracted oral gonorrhea. Almost two weeks ago I had unprotected oral sex. I hadn't been feeling great after the experience and am chalking it up to a potential std.
The doctor did a strep test (negative) I questioned the likely hood of std. He did a throat culture and prescribed amoxicillin for a bacterial infection and sent me on my way. On the way out the nurse said she thought the doctor ordered more tests. That was news to me so she double checked and I was again sent on my way.
I get home and am looking at the report that was emailed to me and it shows a urine test and blood work was ordered. I had already taken a dose of amoxicillin and the lab was closed.
My question is, should I go into the lab tomorrow and have the tests done? Should I not take any more antibiotics until after? I want to know for sure if I have an std and don't want a false negative because of the antibiotic. what is that throat culture even going to show? Could it show an std?
Sorry if I am all over the place I hope I'm making sense.

My question really pertained to getting tested for stds while on antibiotics. It was late at night, doctor was closed and needed a little insight. For those who are wondering, Doctor confirmed waiting a month after finishing antibiotics to get tested. By then, if contracted std is treatable with antibiotics, you'll probably be cleared. Get tested anyway just to be sure and encourage your partners to get cleared. Talk to your doctor and don't waste your time googling in the middle of the night. It did me no good, lesson learned!

You mention you had unprotected oral sex in your post not that you gave. Thats why i replied that way. If you gave unprotected oral sex and did not give him deep throat oral your risk is amost zero and even if you did give him deep throat oral, him have oral gono is not common at all so that should not be an issue either.

I appreciate the fact that you're trying to be helpful, but I feel as though your being a bit accusatory and I'm not sure why. Obviously I referenced oral sex in my first post, if I'm saying my throat could have been infected wouldn't it be obvious that I not only received but gave as well. Thanks again for your time but your responses are not helpful in the least. Have a great day.

Thank you for the reply but I do have reason to believe it would be my mouth and throat.

Hi, if you recieved the oral your genitals would be the area of gono not your mouth.
