Should I get tested sooner?

The Doctor put me on Doxycline for 7 days for a suspected Chlamydia.I was not tested for Chlamydia I had unprotected sex for about a minute. I have redness and litte puffy wrinkles on the opening of my penis. I have just finished the Doxclyine treatment a few days ago. Should I get tested this weekend?Would it hurt to do that or a waist of time.I know you are supposed to wait 3 weeks after treatment.

Hi, if you dont have any urethra irritations like itching inside, burning or a puss discharge that would indicate you dont have it and if you never had these sympotms before the treatment you probably didnot contract it anyway. Itching inside the urethra is a sure sign of it.
