Redness in bottom part of Urethra

Hello Doctors,

For about 2 or 3 months now I have experience redness just inside the Urethra on the bottom section mainly. I have not had unprotected sex with anyone but my wife. The tip of my penis and skin get irtitated from time to time but redness goes away in a day or so. I also have a small bump on my foreskin that is located on the bottom side of my penis. Bump has been there for about 8 months and does not hurt or grown in size. It almost feel like carlidge when I try to squeeze it. Is inside the foreskin and cannot be popped. No pain or itching or discharge on the penis. What could this be? Im uncircumsized and there is a faint line that crosses through the bump and ends up in the frenulum. Could this be causing the redness in the urethra and foreskin? How about the tip of the penis? Thanks

even something as simple as irritation can cause symptoms like this. certainly treat properly for a fungal infection and then if symptoms continue, follow up again with your provider.

Hello Grace,

I recieved a urinalysis and it was negative. My general doctor gave me yeast infection cream but I doubt is that. The redness in the foreskin and penis head comes and goes. When its present it lasts about half a day to a day and then clears up. The redness in the bottom part of the Urethra seems more persistent. Not sure if the are both associated. Could it be my prostate? Wouldnt the urinalysis detect something if it was the prostate? Yeast? Thanks

this is not the doctor's forum. you have to pay to post to them.

have you been seen yet and had any exams and testing done yet? if not, make sure they also manually examine your prostate too when you are there.
