Worried about Syphilis

On the 23 April I met a transsexual escort in the U.K. (she was travelling from Italy).

We kissed, I gave her unprotected oral (no ejaculation) and we gave each other protected anal sex with condoms and lubrication.
I also held her penis and my penis together in my hand and mutually masturbated our penises together (frottage, as it’s known). At no point did she ejaculate. I didn’t notice and obvious symptoms of STDs on her at all.

About 6 weeks later, I noticed a single lesion on the shaft of my penis - it’s not painful and I wouldn’t describe it as an ulcer - within a week or 10 days it scabbed over with a brown/reddish scab like any other wound you might have on your skin.

What are the risks of syphilis from the activities I described?
Does the lesion I have sound like the primary stage of syphilis?

Your questions have been patiently answered to the extent that this, or any online forum can address your concerns. You are welcome to return and report your STD test results, but given that you can test at any time for a conclusive result, we're going to close this thread.

Six weeks is on the long side, but definitely within the window period of when a syphilis sore would appear.

Frottage can transmit syphilis. Your sore doesn't sound exactly like syphilis - it doesn't start as a brown spot where the skin falls off and causes an open sore, but given that you had risk, you can easily go get a test and find out if you have it.

It's a simple blood test and since it's been 6 weeks, it will be conclusive.

It started out as pimple that then opened up (I did squeeze and dig at it a bit) - that’s when the scab formed and then a week or so later the scab fell off in the shower.
The location of the sore is halfway down the shaft of my penis and on the left side as I look down. Does the Syphilis chancre always appear exactly where your skin makes contact with the infected skin of the partner? The underside of my penis was what was being frottaged against her penis, so not exactly where the sore now is. I also don’t remember seeing any obvious sores on her penis.

Thanks in advance for your replies.
Yes, the sore appears at the point of infection.

Again, the easiest way to answer your concerns is to just test. It doesn't sound like it's an exact fit for syphilis, but since it's concerning you, why not just test and put it to rest?

You can test confidentially, as I understand it, in the UK at STD clinics.
From everything I’ve described, would you be worried that it could be Syphilis?
I wouldn't be worried, but I'd want to rule it out as a possibility since the timing fits.
Are any of the doctors on here able to comment on this please?
We have no doctors on this site. I'm not a doctor, but if you'd like to get an answer from a doctor, we recommend Ask Experts Now. Drs. Handsfield and Hook are the best in the field, and I would personally trust my sexual health with either of them.

Terri Warren answers the herpes questions (which is not a concern for you) and she's also amazing.

They all used to answer on our site, but regulatory requirements got in the way and we had to cease that feature on our site, unfortunately.
Can Syphilis be transmitted in the absence of any sores or rashes on the other person? Or does there need to be contact with a sore or rash for transmission to occur?
There needs to be direct contact with a sore or rash.

You have a sore. I don't know what's causing it. It should be checked out by a doctor. I don't know if it's herpes (unlikely), syphilis, or something else.

We can speculate all the day long, but I can't tell you what it is. No doctor online can. You need to get it checked out and get some testing done.

Can someone please advise on my situation? Today when having a shower, the scab came off and now the lesion is open again - dry and not weeping. It’s not raised.
