Was diagnosed with chlamydia how long does it take to get rid of Epididymitis?

About 2 months so ago I had chlamydia, was treated for it, Main symptoms  went away. But seem like   Epididymitis. Is still effecting me. I got retreated two weeks after the first treatment and they gave me  doxycycline for 10 days or so. After those 10 days I still felt pain and discomfort in my testicles. Got another 10 days of doxy. Seems to be going away but mainly when I stay really hydrated. I'm I still infected or can this be another issue? Please help.

Hi Chlamydia is quite easy to cure and with allthe meds should have cleared it up. all we can say is to have a follow up with the doctor. To be honest with you i dont see how you could get epi from chlamydia as takes time for the germs to get into the epi and in that time you would have a puss penis discharge, burning while urinating or urethra itching which would have led you to seek treament before it reached your epi.

well one of my friends said he had chlamydia a few months ago. He said he had no symptoms but got checked because he had discomfort in his testicals. They said it was epi and the treatment for the chlamydia cleared it up. Mines still hasn't gone away, I still feel discomfort and was wondering what other possibilities it might be so I can bring up to the doctor. Thanks for your reply by the way!
