STD Transmission from public toilet towel in office to the frying pan

I have a question on the possibility of STD transmission which occurs in the following scenario.

1. My colleague wash the frying pan in the toilet water sink in the office. Later, she use the towel next to the water sink in the toilet to clean off all the residual water on the frying pan. The towel is shared by lot of office staff after they finish the business in the toilet.

2. My colleague then place the buggers with her bare hand on to the frying pan and put in to the oven to defrost for about 5 minutes at 100 celcius.

3. I ate the buggers.

4. After a few days, I have sore throat.

I would like to know the chances of getting STD such as HIV, HPV, HCV and etc, from this encounter as you know the towel may contain lot of gem from fluids like urine, semen, facet or tiny blood on it after shared by many people.

I am having sever sore throat. Is it an indication of STD transmission ? Do i need to get tested ...? I am well worried now.

thanks

regards

Hi jessyjames,

Thanks for your advice. I am trying to calm myself down. But I just can't accept the fact that some one is using the public toilet towel to clean out the frying pan. I simply can't accept that and it is just not hygiene at all.

Anywhere, it is just my fault to have eaten the buggers. Anywhere, do you learn of anyone infected with any kind of disease as a result of my scenario?

Thanks

Regards

Simon

I don't know what kind of germs the towel may contain.

You should not be concerned over it ----wash your hands with soap and DON'T use the company towel.

Please read up on STDs and how they are caught;you should not be worried about STDs if you are only having sex with your wife.   Continue to have sex with her only.

Yes, kissing can transmit herpes 1 virus if one person is infected and the other is not.

Hi jessyjames,

I am so worried is because I know most of my colleagues in the office has the habit of seeking prostitute services. Chances of them having the STD are very high.

Furthermore, that public toilet towel is shared by them. The possibility of that towel containing urine, semen and other bodily fluids are very high if they do masturbate in the toilet. I am really freaking out when thinking of that kind of dirty stuff went into my mouth and stomach through the buggers i ate.

Let say if there is no std on the towel, what kind of germs the towel may contain? Should I be concerned with it ? I am just married and I have good sex life with my wife and I don't want to pass any disease to my loving wife. Now, I am very scared to have sex with my wife.

One last thing, we can have std without having sex like french kissing can transmit the Herpes 1 virus.

Thanks

Regards

Simon

Hi

There was no HIV, HPV or HCV on that towel.  There were/are germs on that towel, but not STDs.
Then the pan was cooked at 100 degress, which killed off any thing that was on there.  So no worries.

Your sore throat is NOT an indication of STDs.  To get an STD you have to have sex.
