STD or Adeonvirus?

I had unprotected oral sex with a sex worker, this was around 10:00 PM one evening. By morning, I felt a slight discomfort in the tip of my penis, some urge to urinate. It has been about one week, there has been no discharge whatsoever. The urethral discomfort is mild to nonexistent. I have felt some dryness in my eyes and work up one morning with some extra eye crust, some redness, but nothing like full pink eye.  I have also had some mild sinus and throat discomfort like the onset of a cold.  I am waiting for std test results, but I am very stressed as this was a stupid one time episode of bad judgement and I am married.  All the std info seems to point to generally longer incubation, and discharge.   Does this sound like a std or viral?  Also if viral, do I simply do nothing and let it resolve?  Thanks

If your having urethra discomfort it is best just to go have a checkup at this point, Could be UTI, also called non specific urinary infection, Could be from mouth saliva. If its that youll need some antibiotics to clear it up as your constant checking will irritate it more if thats what it is. Your doctor will know.

Thanks and will  do. So will the mild urethral discomfort typically go away if not connected to a STD?

Hi and welcome, Unprotected oral is low risk and usually no testing is recommiended with out symptoms like a discharge or burning when urinating. Your symptoms of the sinus and such are not std related.
However if there is a spouse or loved one that you want to make sure then id recommed a full testing including herpes and syphlis.
