when do I need to get a checkup?

I recently had a sexual encounter with a girl for
money. It was my first time and I am sure I
am not going to do this irresponsible stuff again
in my life other than with my life partner.

I used a condom but the organ was only half covered
when I finished. It's been 3 days now and I would like to
know if a test is needed and if so, what type of a test and
after how many days?

Thanks in advance,
Mickey;

I'd follow up with your doctor.  Waiting 2 to 3 months doesn't make much sense if you are still having pain.  Perhaps ask for a referral to a urologist.

I don't know what that is, but I am glad you are seeing the doctor on Monday.  If it worsens, or starts to hurt, get it checked over the weekend.

Good luck, and if the pain worsens before Friday, call your doctor.

First, try and relax.

its possible the doxy is giving you a fungal infection (yeast or jock itch) - that's quite common.  Just call your doctor tomorrow.

You used a condom.  You can't get anything fatal.

Azithromycin won't cure gonorrhea.  There is resistance to it.  But you don't have gonorrhea - you used a condom.

also, as I am using this doxycycline.it does mean I am getting treatment for chlamydia...but as I used a condom...I don't understand why I go this std as you mentioned that I can't get any other std other than syphilis and herpes in the previous post.IS there a chance I might have got contracted with some thing more fatal? Please let me know...

Today I had some burning sensation on the foreskin and the urethra..after 1 week.I was only given doxycycline twice daily for 10 days....as I had this burning feeling..is it also better to have azythromycine as I heard that both gonorrhea and chlamydia go hand in hand? Also, I got the blood test and the urine test done onlye in 7 days after the first contact..and the results haven't been out yet...along witht his, I still feel some head ache and some loss of appetite...(symptoms of HIV)...I used a condom but I am not sure if it really worked or not...as there's some fluid and a contracted ring on the head after I finished...I am just scared...need some help...

If they are running the right tests, then yes, urine and blood are fine.

The meds should start working now, and you should notice a marked improvement in your symptoms within a few days.

You are not considered cure until 7 days has passed.

Mam..thanks a lot for that answer..I am a bit relieved.I went to the Dr today and I was taken for a urine and a blood test and was prescribed doxycycline 100 mg standard blue pills for 10 days to be taken twice daily. The Dr said that I need to eat properly not to have a headache. She said that we can get the results in a 1-2 weeks.I hope nothing else bad will crop up again....with God's grace.Never again will I do this other than with the girl I marry...I will practice abstinence.Thank you so much for these responses...Also, I would like to know in how many days time will those pills take effect.Along with this, is the urine and blood tests enough to get accurate results for all the stds and also the hiv? Please do let me know....

There is nothing embarrassing or shameful about this.  Yes, it can be a hard lesson, but it happens to many of us, and sex isn't, or shouldn't be, shameful.

You would know if the condom broke.  It would either rip at the sides or the head of it, and you would see it.  Its not something you'd miss.  The liquid on the condom was probably her vaginal secretions.  That happens to women when we get aroused.  I'm not sure what the ring was.

Hang in there - it sounds as if everything was ok.

the girl put the condom on for me....as I said I had a head ache earlier for 2 days...I did eat something yesterday night and now I feel a bit relieved..but the testicular pain is still there and some pain in the urethra and just inside it...my another worry is that...
when I finished sex...and took the penis out...the condom is no more lubricated and when I took that out...the head was covered with some colorless liquid discharge and a ring on it..just like when U put a rubber band tightly to Ur finger and take it...I didn't know if the condom worked fine or not....is it easy to know if the condom breaks?please do let me know about all this....thank you once again for the prompt response...also, I am going for a checkup this morning and I am hoping to come out free of those diseases...I swear to god that this is my last time before I get married....it's an embarrassing, shameful and a costly lesson to me....I just pray to god that I am fine....

Upside down?  That's not possible.  Or is that why it didn't cover the whole penis - because it wouldn't roll all the way down?  Typically, a condom can't be put on wrong.  Why would you use it upside down?

Anyway, since its obviously concerning to you, why not just test?

And in the meantime, if you can't sleep well, at least eat well.

You do not need testing.  While its possible that you could get syphilis, herpes or HPV, that's not likely since you used a condom.

If the head of your penis was covered, you don't need to worry about any other std.
