You are welcome. However, I think since ceftraixone isn't the drug of choice and you took it orally that you should go get a shot (intramuscular) of penicillin G (which is the drug of choice). I am worried that you may only have partial treatment since it was given orally. Since you can't follow up with a testing option then I strongly suggest you be safe and get the penicillin G shot. It wouldn't hurt to have the two drugs. Generally, ceftriaxone can be used but intramuscularly. I found this infromation on the latest guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control (syphillis guidelines 2010.). Sorry if I am going back and forth on this. I couldn't find any guidelines on the administration of ceftriaxone and only found this information today. As I mentioned I'm not a doctor and am much more familiar with the testing and patient symptoms than with treatment, though we do know quite a bit about that too.
hope this helps.

Thank you very much for your answer,i am living in country we can say tests not available ,but all kind of medication avaiable,i used ceftriaxon one week after sex,now i am ok ,the redness became smaller and the coulur changed to violet and pink.
I looked at your post again and you said you had ceftriaxone after your last unprotected sex and after you had the chancre. So, it is quite possible that even though they usually use penicillin for treatment since ceftraixone is in the same calss of drugs it should be effective. You should get tested anyway thoguh to make sure you are clear and also that to make sure it isn't anything else. The time frame and a painless chancre is a sign of syphillus but do you still have symptoms? You can get reinfected if you had unprotected sex after the antibiotic because the antibiotic clears fairly quickly through the kidneys/urinary tract (about 2 days) if not you may be ok. But I would still get tested for the common STD's GC, chlamydia and syphillus. The syphillis chancre usually appears10-90 days from exposure and lasts 3-6 weeks once it comes out. I guess it would be good if you are going in to get tested to ask the clinician about damage. I would say probably not but I don't know much about that.

thank you for your reply, tell me are you a doctor or nurse?or just you had the same condition before?
best regards
It sounds like you should get tested for syphillis as your sore my a canker sore. The ceftriaxone that you had may not work on this. The sore may go away if it is syphillis but you will still be infected it is just another stage it goes to.
