Could I have syphillis??

hello I have had syphillis rpr test all were negative.from June to September 2016.  But in late may /early June 2016 I was tested positive for herpes 2. My last test rpr was negative in September 1.  Does the prozone effect have to do anything with herpes ? I know this is true for HIV influencing false negative rpr. Was my rpr accurate given the newly diagnosed herpes 2??can I be assured I don't have syphillis ?
