STDs from receiving unprotected oral sex / rimmed

Dear Drs.

Please i am very worried. 2 weeks ago i had unprotected oral sex from a sex worker. My penis wasn’t flaccid as i was very drunk. I also got rimmed by her for 3 minutes. At the vey end i came but outside her mouth.

I had no symptoms at all since then, but 4 days ago i got a sudden sharp pain my lower abdomen in the morning. The pain came and went away in waves. 45 seconds extreme pain and went away for a good 15-20 minutes. It lasted the whole day but got better towards the end of the day. During the times i had pain, sometimes i pooped and that made me feel better. I started taking intestinal anti inflammatory and disinfectant pills that helped during the last 4 days. Now i feel much better but i feel small cramps when i need to pass gas.

Please help me, i am afraid i infected my wife with anything.

So, this is something in which you need to understand how anxiety is impacting you. You had oral sex which is not 'no' risk but low risk. You aren't talking about anything related to an std when you say you had stomach pains/abdominal pains the night of, after, etc. receiving oral sex. That's nothing at all to do with oral sex. Perhaps constipation or GI aftermath of being so drunk. If you don't have any std symptoms (sores, discharge, etc.) then there is no reason to worry or test. And kissing? And you have hemorrhoids. These are unnecessary facts.

I know when someone cheats on their spouse, it makes them feel super guilty and sparks anxiety that they gave their significant other something  I personally think we must protect our loved ones. This means either not having sex or sexual activity outside the relationship or using a condom. Maybe not drinking so much. This is not to shame you but to just suggest some clean up of things in your life that work against you.

But for this situation, I would not be worried about the stomach pain and unless something happens to suggest so that you got an std.

Thank you Dr for the prompt response. I just want to clarify that the abdominal pain came 10 days after the incident. You still dont think its related.

Thanks again for the support.
yes, constipation is not a symptom of std's which it sounds like it was.

I am also worried because we kissed and because i sometimes have hemorrhoids. So possibly any virus could have came in from small bleeds on my anus.
