Hi. I have posted here a week or so ago, but have had new symptoms that I have and this is not caused by anxiety at all. Furthermore, I will be seen by my Family Physician tomorrow for further evaluation so am just wondering from you what to really expect. Description of my encounter:
On April 11, 2014 I engaged in anal sex with a male who is in his 30s and whose HIV status is unknown; I am 23. I was the insertive one in the anal sex and wore a Trojan Dry natural rubber latex condom on my penis. First, he layed on the bed back down and I tried penetrating him, but was unsuccessful so he told me to lay on his bed back down while he went on top of me. He pushed my penis up and forced its way into his anus going down on my penis. It hurt while he did this I guess because of the weight of his body on my penis, he almost went all the way down until I told him that I was about to ejaculate and he went off of me. I then ejaculated in the condom and observed that the condom was still in and even had trouble taking it off because it was on really good. I am worried because he put a lot of Trojan compatible lubricant all over my penis and then put the condom on; is that bad? Also, when he went down on my penis it hurt so you think that the condom may have come off little without my noticing it? I wasn't worried initially, since I didn't do that much and really didn't get to have full blown sex.
Three weeks afterwards I had a red circle under my right armpit and it hurt to touch it. Also, around this same time my testicles hurt and so did the head of my penis. About 5 days ago I am having swelling in the glands in my neck below my ear and I have been having ear pain and earaches along with the swollen glands. No fever of sore throat or anything else thus far. Do you believe I obtained HIV from this act? I know that it was too early, but 26 days after my exposure I did a rapid test and it came back negative. The guy at the clinic reassured me that I should not worry and that almost always you get HIV from bottoming. Is that true? I just want to know my TRUE risk.
To sum up, do I have a risk for STDs, more importantly HIV?
Thanks.
