STD's?

I have a lot of small red bumps on and around my penis. Not on the head, but just the shaft skin and a few (two-three) tiny red bumps that are red underneath up near my waist line. About a week and a half ago I used an electric razor (which I do from time to time) to trim down the pubic hair. Trim, not bald.

If I pop them they produce either hard white stuff, blood, or both.

It was really itchy all over down there on the pubic hair by the waist line and on the shaft a few days ago but no bumps or lesions that I noticed. I wake up yesterday and I notice two or three.

I have taken a photograph that is high-res and I'm not sure if this is allowed to post or not. But, you can clearly see the bumps that I've described above. The photo is here - http://img697.imageshack.us/f/p5290249.jpg/

The bloody looking sores are the ones that I popped. The others are hard bumps forming that I haven't popped... I'm very concerned. The hard bumps are like under the skin almost like bb's... no white head to them or blister look to them... just a hard bump forming under the skin.

Will make an appt with a doc next week but if anybody could give some advice I would appreciate it.

Well, what you can do is go and get the ones that have not popped cultured and sent off to a lab.  That will help determine whether or not herpes is the cause.  It could be a bacterial infection or a bad case of follucitis. There are lots of things that can cause bumps many of which are not std related. So, your best course of action would be to see a doctor for a proper examination.

Have you had unprotected sex recently to make you think this is std related?

Well, if you were allowed to look at the picture you could see that some of them are huge bumps forming under the skin of the shaft.  That concerns me quite a bit.

Ummm, yeah.  Links to pictures are not allowed.  It sounds a lot like razor bumps.
