STI's caused my bartholin cyst
I'd never engaged in penetrative sex until I married. Before then I received oral sex only. Before & during marriage I got tested every year for STDs. Met husband in Jun/July of '12 .. on wedding night march '13 he inserted but we didn't get really into because of pain involved but few months after getting into having sex regularly I noticed a cyst.. I was telling doctor that I may be allergic to husbands sperm cause I was itching puffy when he'd cum inside me. I went to the doctor about everything because I felt my body was changing.. smelling & feeling different . Doctors kept saying nothing was wrong changed birth control a few times for lack of libido. In Oct '14 he went to doctor because he was having tenderness & swollen parts & it felt the same from when he had that stuff in '12 he they gave him shot & pills though as if he had it. I didn't think nothing of it cause I wasn't feeling any type of way or didn't think "hey std" so my cyst kept getting bigger and smaller & annoying in '15 so I go to doctor and I have to tell them what I think it is , a bartholin cyst, & they agree (funny right) so they tell me not to mess with it if it doesn't hurt so I Google and it says it could be cause by std so I ask hubby about it and he was like I had that in '12 & just automatically assumed since he military that they retest and make sure u good & If I'm getting tested regularly & don't have it then that can't be it, so Dec '15 comes and I wasn't feeling good cyst was irritated & hubby was saying go to doctor but we were out of town so I was like il go when we get home.. by the time we get home the cyst ruptures and I got to doctor still so they do a culture and say I got Chl & gon & I can only get it one way.. I know I'd been faithful so I had to "face facts" he gets tested & only has chl. So of course I'm blaming him & he's upset & saying why would he tell me go to doctor if he knew I had it? he didn't do nothing I'm talking about divorce & Counseling just an emotional roller coaster. I get his military medical records. He never got a test of cure in 2012& men don't get checked yearly for STDs. Even when he went in Oct '14.. they treated him as if he had something but didn't test him to check. These trash doctors set the tone by telling us "that's there's only way" I've never thought of him cheating til she said that. When they said by the puss color that's what it looked like I was like ok & how I get that ??
If he did get treated, he should still have tested positive because we never stopped having sex. I was treated for tonsillitis at least once a year every year which lead to me getting my tonsils taken out in Jan '14 so maybe the drugs hid it? Was the cyst holding the std? How can a bartholin cyst form because of chl but become an abscess when infected? Like I had it but it didn't affect me? Can anybody explain?? So many questions. But i just wanted to let ppl know how they aren't alone and can't believe these doctors because I knew something was up with the itching and irritation when he nuts in me. He probably been had it and we been passing it back and forth curing sometimes when we get sick
Bartholinitis: The glands that produce the lubricating mucus to make sexual intercourse easier are known as the Bartholin's glands. They are situated on either side of the vaginal opening. Infection with chlamydia can cause the glands to become blocked and infected and lead to a Bartholin's cyst. A cyst is usually painless but if it becomes infected it can lead to a pus-filled Bartholin's abscess. An abscess is usually red, very tender and painful to touch, and can cause a fever. An infected abscess will need to be treated with antibiotics.

Hi, im really having a hard time understanding this. If he had gono he would have a big time white puss discharge from his penis and also terrible burning while urinating so he would not be having sex with you as the pain would be to much. Gono is a very obvious infection in men. Maybe a test mixup.

He didn't test positive for gono only me. After I tested positive for both from the puss of the cyst.. he got tested & he only had chlamydia.

Hi how did you test positive for Gono and chmalydia? What test was done?
I drank aloe juice and put teatree oil on it and did Sitz baths and that's when it ruptured.. so did the aloe cleanse me? So many factors to consider
