Should I get tested

Hi. Well I'm a female in her teens and I wondering what is the best way to handle this situation. Sorry about the length of the question. Well about 4 months ago I went out with a guy who said he was a virgin, but has had a ** before from an unknown girl. So we had started to get sexual and ended out having oral and anal sex. I'm a virgin and I have no std's. When I had participated in those sexual acts he did ejaculate. After the time I had oral sex for the first time, I ended up having a sore throat the next day. I read that gonorrhea can be in the throat so I was wondering.

The problem is, I had another symptom about 2 weeks ago. The bottom of my mouth (underneath my tongue) started to peel. I could literally feel the pieces of skin coming off. Not only the bottom of my mouth, but the inside sides of my cheeks had white lines and skin was peeling too. I eat alot of sugary foods so I came to a conclusion. I'm thinking it's a yeast infection, because I did the Candida saliva test and I had the stringy forms in the cup.

I have no where to get tested though. Since I want to go to a free clinic and get tested without an adult. I did take an HIV test though and came back negative.

Most oral gonorrhea doesn't cause symptoms, and the only way to know if you have it is to test.

Back again sadly. I was wondering if it's possible to see gonorrhea visually? I mean I found out there is oral gonorrhea. But other than a sore throat what does oral gonorrhea look like?

!!still worried!!

I was thinking that I might have candida. I don't know what I have. Since I've been having throat issues. Basically when you get sick and have mucus in the back of the throat. That's what I have been experiencing lately.

Btw thank you so much for replying. I was becoming paranoid again. :)

Hi there -

There isn't an std that would cause the peeling you describe, but you should get it checked out.

Also, you can get stds anally from anal sex, and its very important that you use condoms for that as you would for vaginal sex.

Different states have different laws regarding minors being tested for stds.  Your local clinic should know these laws.
