Herpes from mutual masturbation?

I met a random man from online.  There was very little contact between us.  I stroked his **** a few times and then stroked my **** right after and then later ejaculated.  He didnt touch me at all.  I didnt notice or see any lesions on him.  Also i had dry patches of skin on my hands that had peeled off.  About maybe 3 weeks later i had some sort of bump on my penis, only one bump.  It was red and lumplike and it looked like there might have been pus but I'm not sure.  It was kind of hard and it never erupted and i masturbated with it and nothing ever happened even tho there was a bit pain when i poked at it.  Ive seen that generally mutual masturbation is safe for stds and genital herpes but i just wanted to hear it for my situation.

So just to follow up.  Ive found a little bump on my penis again.  Its about in the same area as the other lump and its been maybe about 3 or 4 weeks later now.  Its not very big.  Its red and doesn't hurt to touch it.
