Please help me figure out what this is

I am a 26 yr old female worried about what i have on my buttocks.  For a few months now, I've had what looks to be a breakout of acne on my butt on one cheek.  I have picked at it... not sure if thats why it is still there...  I've also been using a body acne wash that seems to make it fade when i leave it alone.  Yesterday however, I noticed some new smaller and a bit different looking pimple like things on my other butt cheek.  Like i said, they're a bit different looking, like kind of the small bumps one has on the bak of their arms...  I did have sex unprotected with someone a few months ago, a few times, after i had already seen the stuff on my butt.  I never actually looked at his penis and such, so I dont know if he was ok. I really regret that whole thing and feel so stupid!  But I am freaked out as to if this is an std or what!  I dont have anything else going on down there that seems to be of concern.  But the fact that i now have things goin on on both sides of my butt cheeks, is bothering me.  The ones that I've had only hurt when i have messed with them.  I started to mess with the new ones so they hurt only a bit now.  I have a total of 5 or 6 that I've had for the past few months and the news ones maybe about the same number.  I guess i slightly itch.  None are pussing tho, which i read is what happens with herpes.  So i wonder is it herpes, some other std, or something else. I'm really worried because its very scary to think about having an std like this..  please help with your advice.

Herpes is the std that would be able to occur on the butt, but herpes outbreaks wouldn't last nearly this long.

Try and relax, and just get seen.  Ask them to do a wound culture on it to find out for sure what it is, and ask about staph.

From LisaLisa1982, the poster, continuing on my issue-
I had an appt for next Sat with a gyno, but have been so upset (cuz i worry about everything all the time(.  I got it moved to next Sat but then was able to get squeezed in at my reg doc tommorw!  so I'm happy about that but just so scared to have an std because Ive been seeing my ex again, not the guy i thought could be the one who gave me something, but an ex that i really care about and really dont wanna have something and have to tell him.  Do people get stds on their buttocks only???  i just dont understand what else this could all be though...   thanks

Have you seen a doc about this yet?  Its not herpes - herpes isn't continual.  You do need to see a doctor, though, as its not going away.

And you should stop picking it.  You might be spreading it.
