still sounds like jock itch...... sorry that isn't more help
Go to a Drug Store and purchase anti fungal cream and powder, you'll find these around the "Foot Fungus" section, basically Jock itch is just a fungus just like athletes foot! Keep your crotch dry and after showering use a blow dryer to dry your skin.
jock itch will cause rashes. Hard to tell if that's what is going on or not. At this point I recommend going back to be seen again to make sure you don't have something other than just a fungal infection going on with all your scratching.
also whenever you can, go pantless ( wear a bathrobe around the house so you don't scare people ). it will get cool , drying air to your genital area to help discourage yeast overgrowth as well as it decreases friction on your sensitive genital skin too.
