should I worry

I was fingered by a male and three days later I tested positive for syphilis,( I know it wasn't him who infected me ) id like to know the likelyhood of me infecting him?

Yes the canker goes away and then you get a rash. The rash can transmit syphilis.

So does that mean that he could have only been infected if we had unprotected sex?

I was also confused about that because I was told I was in the second stage of syphillis( had brown spots in my hands) and I read online that the cancre goes away and then it moves on to secondary syphilis. Is that true ?

Very very very low risk as the hand does a good job of rejecting infections. And he would have to come into contact with the sore. But with all that said he should be informed and he should test at 6 weeks.
