Symptoms after unprotected sex

I am a 21 year old male who had unprotected vaginal sex about 40 days ago with a girl I don't know. I have recently been tested for chlamydia, gonhorrea, syphilis, and hiv, all tests coming back negative. I was not able to be tested for herpes since I live in Canada and the blood test they do here does not distinguish hsv1 from hsv2.

The symptoms I have been experiencing have been noticeable (I doubt that I am just letting anxiety control these symptoms). About 10 days after my encounter I noticed a red spot on my scrotum, it is not raised, didnt form a blister and it is alone about 2mm by 1mm. It does not itch or hurt and I have no discharge from my penis. However, my testicles seem to ache and I have noticed that my lower back aches as well more often than it normally did before. Also, my anus seems to itch a lot. I have looked over my entire boxer short area and have found no blisters, clusters, ulcers or anything else that would be a giveaway of warts or herpes but I am aware that symptoms vary.

My question is basically this: Do my symptoms seem like they could be related to any STD? My anus has never been touched, penetrated, licked, or anything by my sexual partners so could the itch be related to an STD? When I went to the doctor she dismissed the possibility of me having herpes because she said that I would feel immense pain during the initial outbreak, is this the case?

Thanks a lot for your time in helping me out, if you need any more information from me I will be happy to provide it.

Thanks very much grace and vance. And no, I never got the red spot checked out because the doctor said if I was having an initial outbreak of herpes the spot would be very painful and would blister, since it was neither she said it was a non-issue.

None of this really sounds like herpes.  did you have the bump checked out?

The itching around the anal area can be man things including fungal infections and even hemorrhoids. If you were properly examined by a provider and they didn't see anything suspicious for herpes, no reason to think herpes because of these symptoms.

You can get type specific herpes igg blood testing done in canada. You usually have to pay for it out of pocket though unless you have it ordered by an infectious disease specialist or an obgyn is the way I understand it. Several labs in canada do do the type specific testing.

nothing you've mentioned sounds like a std and you've covered the bases for the usual suspects of std's.

Also, if I can clarify a few points, the red spot has been there for about a month, not changing in size or look. And although I do not always ache, it seems like if there isn't an ache in my testicles, there is an ache in my back, if there is no aching at all my anus will feel raw or itchy. Basically I am always feeling some sort of discomfort.. I dont know if it is anxiety but I dont think my mind would be playing tricks on me like this for over a month even after I have recieved negative test results. I am sure there is something going on.

No it does not sound like any STD.
For the herpes question you would have to post in the herpes community.
