Syphilis Antibodies are positive,TPHA result negative.Should I travel to U.K?

Syphilis Antibodies are positive in my body and TPHA test result are non- reactive, I am having weight loss of 10kg in last 1 year. May be it is due to antibodies or any hormonal changes, me not confirmed about that. Should I travel to U.K or Canada , what are the international standards for syphilis? Any doctor if knew , kindly provide guideline to me

Do another test, however if TPHA test is non-reactive, the first is likely a false positive. What was the encounter?

I had gone to donate blood two years ago, Syphilis And HIV kit was used by lab to check the positivity, they found Syphilis positive in blood. After that I gone for detailed Syphilis serology using TPHA-RPR method. Its results came non-reactive but anti-bodies are positive. Now  I want to travel to Europe, is it possible for me to go there??? Because in medical lab test conduction by any Embassy, Syphilis kit is used. It will again give the positive results. Any solution for it?
We can't advise on travel or legal issues here. Too many countries have too many different requirements. You'll have to address that with your country and the country/countries you want to go to.

It could be a false positive, or a previous infection that was cured. Some people will always test positive on the RPR if they've had it before.

Ask if you can present your TPHA results only.
