Syphilis concern from rubbing escort

A few weeks ago I visited an escort (female), no sex took place, my shorts stayed on the entire time. I received a back and shoulder massage and I performed the same on her. The one thing that I did do was rub the outside of her vigina with finger for a couple of minutes. I then washed my hands before have a shower and left.

This was 22 days ago, today I have an large hard abscess on my inner thigh and a possible abscess on my anus.

I didn’t have any open cuts on my hands that I was aware of. But very concerned that I might have contracted syphilis and could pass it on.

As you might expect I have been hitting the web and the information on Syphilis transmission is mixed, some say skin to skin and just lying next to an infected person is enough others say it need genital to genital or oral to genital contact.

So I was wondering about genital to hand transmission. Is a syphilis

This is not syphilis, but please see your doctor about it. Your shorts were on the entire time and you had no risk.

There is no risk for hand transmission, and certainly lying next to someone is not a risk. To transmit syphilis, you need direct contact with a sore or a syphilis rash, and the sore appears where the bacteria entered the body. As your shorts were on the entire time, this can't be syphilis.

With STDs, when we say skin to skin transmission, we mean direct, unclothed skin to skin mouth to genital/anal, or genital to genital/anal contact, which didn't happen here.

Please see your doctor. Abscesses often need treatment.

Thanks, I would like to following if possible, just so I understand. Does the initial signs alway appear at the site of entry into the body ? The abscess appeared 22 days later but very quickly within hours, however it was in an area that was covered the entire time. Just wondering what risk the viginal fingering / rubbing  posed.
If you had a risk, yes, the syphilis sore would appear at the point of entry.

I already explained that there was no risk from the fingering or rubbing her vagina.

Whatever you had, it wasn't syphilis. Have you seen a doctor yet?
