Syphilis day after sex?

I had unprotected sex with my girlfriend after about a month and a half of abstinence ....the morning after i already had a ulcer sore on the head of my genitals... Can it happen that fast? is there anything i can apply to the sore while i go to the doctor?

I think you need to let a doctor see it, and if he thinks herpes or syphilis (which would be from another encounter, not this one - it showed too soon), then insist on a culture and blood testing.

No syphilis would not show that quickly and you would have to come into direct contact with a syphilis sore.
Do not apply anything to it, but it doesn't sound like an STD. I would see a Dr but I would not worry about it.
