Syphilis rash on face

Hi All,
I had an encounter 10 weeks back and after 5 weeks I developed rash on my face which I still have. I thought I had HIV but got testes twice once after 6 weeks and once after 9th. Results negative.
I m concerned about the rash that I have on my face.  I thought it is a fungal and applied micanazole which I had applied earlier when I had fungal rash. But this time the rash had no effect and the rash is more on the cheeks rather than near nose.
Can this be secondary syphillis ?
I am very very cOncerned. Please help.

you have no reason to think this is a syphilis rash!!! get over that thought!!!

continue to be seen by the dermatologist as needed.

I used the tube given by doctor but there is No improvement in rash. I got worried and went to doctor and got the rapid syphillis test done. The doc said the result was negative. How accurate is the test ? Any idea? Doctor said very accurate but I am not satisfied. The rash has been there for now more than 2 months. I have never had this kind of rash. What should I do?

Yes, Syphilis can be transmitted by shaking hands also with an infected person's sore - but you know its just rare - all these arguments are just for theory sake, when you have condom you are protected but condom is not 100%  fool proof for any STD, not even for contraceptive purposes.

It was a protected intercourse. Can syphillis pass even with condoms?

bottom line is - you need to stop self treating your rash and be seen and get a proper exam done.  you are worrying yourself needlessly when you could've had better answers from a dermatologist .

you also wouldn't have secondary syphilis this quickly either!

Hello Ramesh,
Nuvvu worry avaku , certainly its not syphilis, usually it begins with a small convex shape small wound which is called shanker ( chancre ) either on penis or any point of contact with the partner, later the chancre heals by itself , normally people experience fever also during primary episode you can google for the chancre image which will make your mind clear, secondary episode you will experience many syptoms which will vary from person to person, rash mostly on hands legs etc, and fatigue, weight loss also will occur.
your syptoms doesnt look like this
still if you are doubtful, a VDRL and TPHA test will clear this.
