herpes

Hi doctor,

Last year i receive unprotected oral sex by a friend of mine and five years ago, i also receive unprotected oral sex from a stranger. I never experience any of the typical symptoms. Im in a new relationship with a girl that was virgin at the time i meet her. Since we have sex, she develop several case of yeast infection and went to her gynecologist everytime. She didnt get test for herpes. Last week i discover a small red dot on me penis head, no pain, no itch. And on the top of that my groin nodes are bigger than usuall and a bit painfull. Can Herpes be possible ?

thank a lot

just as an fyi, condoms aren't 100% protection against contracting herpes.  if you've never been tested for it, never a bad idea to do so periodically.

no reason to think your partner getting yeast infections is due to any std. if she is getting properly diagnosed as having yeast, no reason to doubt that.

this is not the doctor's forum - you have to pay to post there.

yeast infections are not a std. they are caused by an overgrowth of yeast in the genital area. many things can cause them in us gals from too tight pants, our partners sperm altering our vaginal ph as well as certain lubes for sex too.

has your only sexual contact been the oral sex you've mentioned before this gal?
