Tiny red bumps on glans of penis

Hi I am a 30-year-old male in a monogamous relationship with my girlfriend. You practice safe sex most of the time. We have also had unprotected sex sometimes. I am uncircumcised and have irritation on the glans after sex. Two days ago we had a very rough sex. The next morning when I pulled my foreskin back I noticed it was red and itchy. The next morning I noticed tiny red bumps all over the glans. The red bumps  don't hurt to touch And occasionally they itch. I am going to see the doctor tomorrow. I was wondering if this could be genital warts. If I have HPV can do irritation off skin cause warts to pop-up. This happened before and when the doctor saw my penis confirm it wasn't Genital warts. He prescribed me a antifungal cream and the irritation went away. I am just worried that it will happen every time I have sex. I can upload a picture if you need. Please help

We get tested for STDs and show each other our results. We are both over 26 years old so gardisil is not an option According to my doctor. Thanks for the response I will post my doc's comments tomorrow

doesn't sound at all like warts.

you can get fungal infections under the foreskin. you treated it and it went away.  you were seen by a provider who thought this was what it was. no real reason to doubt it either.  no you will not get this every time you have sex.

we don't look at pictures and why not is spelled out in our read before posting post on this forum.

are you using lube when you have sex?

have you and your gf had your gardasil shots?  have you discussed each other's std testing and results?
