Syphilis window period

Would a syphilis test at 2 weeks be considered conclusive or should you retest at 3 months?
Everything I read seems to have conflicting answers.

yes, 2 months post encounter is accurate for testing for syphilis.

I mistyped.  I meant a test at 2 months, would this be considered conclusive for syphilis?
