Trimmer cuts on base of the penis before protected sex

Hello Dr HHH/EWH

I am 26 year old male from India.I was cleaing my pubic region and had two small cuts, one on the back of the penis base and one on the skin connecting base and scrotum. Then I applied some aftershave after 5 mins and then some moisturiser.

After 2 hours I had protected sex with CSW but the cuts part was covered. There was no bleeding going on. My intercourse lasted more than 30 mins. My concern is that whether HSV or HIV can be transmitted through vaginal fluid contact with the cut on my skin. As far as I remember I didnt see any sore on her vagina. I just want to throw all the apprehension off my head.

Please reply
Thanks

This is true in the within the body , HIV and Sti cannot survive any significant length outside of the body. The bacteria/ virus cannot survive open air. Think of it this way how long can an ice cube stay frozen on a 90 degree day?

Thanks Randall for replying to my post. I appreciate your efforts to help people to get out of their apprehensions. But there is still one thing I am confused about.

It said everywhere over the internet and on the books that body fluids are infected with hiv or hsv when a person is infected. As far as i know body fluids includes vaginal fluids and sperms.

It confuses me with your explaination. I would be glad if you and DR HHH/EWH can comment on it in respect to my situation.

Thanks

Vaginal fluids do not carry Hiv nor Hsv. If you're in doubt of my advice feel free to double check me at your physician's office

But I am also worried about HSV transmission. I have read many article here on HIV, but I am still not assured regarding HSV. If genital secretion were rubbed on that part during intercourse, then will HSV be transmitted. But Dr HHH or Dr EWH can reply then I can out aside all my worries.

Thanks

Hiv is not transmitted this way, so no risk there. You had protected sex. Which is safe sex . Congratulations on being sexually aware! As far as your cuts.. They were covered or uncovered vaginal fluids outside of the body pose very low risk. Good luck!
