HPV?

I have had a single bump about 1.5 inches above my penis for months now.  It doesnt hurt or puss or anything like that but I became annoyed about a month ago and scratched it off, it is coming back.  I have been to a doctor and they said it doesnt look like an STD.  Any chance they could be wrong?  Also does it sound like warts?

I don't know how long it takes - that depends on the doc, the lab and how the results are reported.

The biopsy would be fairly expensive.

If you don't have insurance, you might just ask someone to burn or freeze it off.  That would reduce the chances of it coming back.

You can also call your health dept and ask what services they offer to those who don't have insurance.

It might be a wart.  They can biopsy it and find out.

It might also be a normal skin variation as well.
