I don't know how long it takes - that depends on the doc, the lab and how the results are reported.
The biopsy would be fairly expensive.
If you don't have insurance, you might just ask someone to burn or freeze it off. That would reduce the chances of it coming back.
You can also call your health dept and ask what services they offer to those who don't have insurance.
