Unknown Condition

I had irritation while urinating as well as a general ithcing feeling in the urethra that was constant.  This lasted for a week and I went to see my doctor.  He put me on Azithromtcin, as well as tested for a Bladder infection, Chlamydia, and ghonerhea.  All test came back negative and the symptoms almost stopped.  Now I feel a slight "funny" feeling after urination, this is at the tip of the penis.  My doctor says it is nothing to worry about, and suggested that I soak my penis in a cup of warm salt water.  I am doing this and it is possibly feeling better.

I feel like my mind may be getting the best of me, but is there something my Dr.  might be missing.  I am very paranoid with things involving my penis.  Should I be worried?

No.  Maybe you are focusing too much on it.

Any other ideas on what it could be then.  I am in a commited relationship, and do not use condoms.  My girfriend had a yeast infection  about 3 weeks ago.  I wore a condom for sex, thinking that it would not be good for us to have unprotected sex if she had a yeast infection.  Could it be a reaction to the condom.  I have had these symptoms for almost two weeks now.  Symptoms that are out of the ordinary for me, so as much as all test have been negative I am still wondering what is causing it and what I may have.

If you haven't had unprotected sex lately, then no, you shouldn't be worried.  Your negative test results are proof enough.
