Unprotected Oral Sex

I (male) was with a trans escort 17 days ago and performed unprotected oral sex in both ways but no penetration. The one I gave was 5-10min and the one I receive was probably 1min. There was no ejaculation in either one. I've already learned that there is no need to worry about HIV as it does not pass through oral sex. However I was concerned about other STDs therefore I bought the multi home test pack. Today I did both chlamydia and gonorrhea tests with negative results on both. I still concern about the results because I wasn't able to insert the swab into the uretha as deep as it says in the instructions. It may be in by half of the swab tip and looks not so wet when puling out.
My questions are:
1. Could the test result be invalid due to not ideal swab?
2. Is the risk high in my case? I had a lip sore on the 4th day and sore throat and on the 16th day but no other symptoms. I understand they may be because of the stress itself. My pre-existing sinus issue being active may also contribute.
Many thanks for your answers.

How far did you insert it?

Oral sex is far less risky than vaginal or anal sex.

Did you do oral testing on yourself, or just genital? You can get oral STDs from giving oral sex, too, and all your symptoms are oral.

Have you ever had a lip sore before? Do you have oral herpes?

You should get oral swabbed for gonorrhea and chlamydia. You might need to actually see a doctor for that, and ask for them specifically.

I'd be more concerned about that since the oral you gave lasted 5-10 min, and the oral you received only lasted a min or so.

When you go to the doc, you can get testing where you pee in a cup. You don't need to do urethral swabs.

Hi auntiejessi, thank you for your answer.
Please see the response to your questions:
1. I perhaps inserted 6mm or may be more.
2. I did not do an oral testing as the home test kit I got is instructed as urethral. If I use the same kit, shall I swab the back of the throat like the covid one? Otherwise what is the way of doing an oral swab? I will consider to see a doctor if this home test doesn't work.
3. I don't recall I had a lip sore before. But it is possible. I understand that herpes are less of concern compared to others. Is that right?
4. I forgot to mention the pink eye which happens on the 10th day but it's not too pink or red. When I sleep well it looks better, and vice versa.
Thanking you for further advice.

That's probably not enough.

Most home kits don't offer oral swabs. You'll have to go to a doctor.

As far as long term complications, yes, herpes is far less of a concern.

If sleep relieves the pink eye symptoms, it's not pink eye. An actual pink eye infection lasts, is constant, and is very red and goopy. If that's what is happening, you should also test for covid. One of the new covid strain's symptoms is pink eye.

Thanks Auntiejessi for your answer and being patient with me.
I will go to a doctor for the swab.
I have tested covid and had negative result yesterday but will keep testing.
The "pink eye" is strange. When waking up in the morning it looks bad but as time goes during the day it settles with lighter colours. The pink coulor lasts longer if I don't sleep well. My sore throat started on 29th April but it seems to get better today the 3rd May although I still cough sometimes. Do these sound like STI symptoms?
Apart from the oral swab for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea, do you recommend doing any other tests? Thanks.
No, just see the doctor. That's all I recommend, and be honest with them.

Good luck!
Thanks. Will do.
