Syphilis confirmation
I got tested for std and i got TPHA positive and doctor told to get RPR Its negative he concluded that no syphilis yo treat u r free from syphilis. Please let me know whether doctor conclusion is right if not help me what to do now
I havent got any treatment previously this is the very first time i got my std done . So im bit worried and i dont have any sores r symptoms

Hi, good question!. Usually the TPHA is done if the RPA comes positive as is more senitive not the other way around. There are false positive with the TPHA So im not confident i can say yes. Maybe get a second opinion from another specialist. Were you treated for syphilis?
