Vdrl negative and Tpha Positive
I was infected in 1988. Same time I took the treatment. after this I never had sex with other women. In 1992 I went to saudi arabia, that time they had my vdrl and tpha test and both were negative. Again in 2010 Jan, I went to saudi arabia on a new visa and my vdrl and tpha both were negative. Now in oct 2011 I again went for saudi medical to go on a new visa, this time my test shows VDRL negative and my TPHA is positive with dilution 1:640. we have tested for my wife and here Tpha is negative. Please suggest me what should i do.

I'm going as an applicant to the Arabia As well and I think my vdrl is negative but tpha positive. Will I have problems on the border to get visa or not. Did you get visa?

you probably should pay to ask the std experts this question. that's a pretty high result for it to be a negative. you might also want to just repeat your testing again too.
