What could this be?
I am on birth control pills (never really had a problem with them) and for the past few weeks I have been on 2 different antibiotics (Augmentin 875mg) and (Doxycycline 100mg) I am also supposedly positive for Lymes Disease. I had unproteced sex with my boyfriend at like around 1:30 or 2 am and suring and after I had bleeding until about early afternoon the same day (today) I feel like I have cramps. and I hear that the medicine I was on could effect the birth control method (pills) which I knew wasn't the brightest decision but I had forgotten about this until after. I usually get my period this Tuesday or Wed. which would be the 9th or 10th. Since the bleeing wasn't even for a day could this be my period? Ive also been under sooo much stress this past month and had also gotten a Pap Smear on Wed of this week ( the 3rd) and had brown discharge from this wed and also had brown discharge the day we had sex...im going crazy will someone please help?

Understandable. Maybe it's a combination of things. I hope it turns out to be nothing.
I mean yes of course it can happen but it hasn't happened to me from what I can remember but of course it can be a bunch of things in my case...I wrote on the forum you told me. I had went to CVS pharmacy and spoke to the pharmasist she said it could be a lot of things... stress, tearing something, triggering period, antibiotics, rough sex. It just isn't usual for me. thats why I am freaking out. I have had a lot of anxiety the past 2-3 weeks from a lot of things going on and I knew I was making myself more sick from it but sometimes I just can't help it. (I am hoping this is what it is and maybe my boyfriend just triggered the onset of it.) I will still go to Planned Parrenthood in the morning.
You're welcome. I was on Loestrin until about a week ago. And I can tell you that every time i missed, i never failed to have breakthrough bleeding.
thank you very much for your advice....I really appreciate it....I heard you can do it up 2 about 48 hours and I will go tomorrow morning to get it just to be safe... I took a pregnancy test just now and it was negative. Although I know if I had just just gotten pregnant (today) it probably wouldn't show up. again, thank you so much.
Well, with birth control pills, it is important that you try to take them around the same time every day. If you miss, you may possibly have break through bleeding. This can happen even if you double up. Break through bleeding can be spotting or it can be like you have your period. You can also have increased cramping from the pills. From what I remember about early pregnancy, implantation bleeding occurs about 4-12 days after ovulation.
Honestly, if you wanted to take the morning after, you are running out of time. It won't hurt to do it anyway though it's no guarantee. I don't think you have an std though...you should try posting this in the birth control forum and see what they say.

the symptoms I had last week lasted for about 2 weeks (had tonsilitious and swollen glands in neck) so I was put on Augmentin 875 then I was freaking out so I told them to take my blood and check for anything else and I came up positive for Lyme Disease. yes I have missed pills but usually take them when I remember or with the next pill (double dose) the bleeding occured at around 1:30am or 2:00am during and after unprotected sex with my boyfriend which I have never had unless I was on my period. (obviously) so I am freaking out because I should be getting my period Tues or Wed. (when it normally comes.) but came Sunday in the early morning (1:30 or 2 am) and only lasted till about mid afternoon. and I haven't started my brown pills yet (those start sunday, today and I haven't taken them yet.) what do you think this could be? could it be related? from stress? which I have been undergoing a lot lately? could it be from the Lymes? antibiotics? and maybe the sex just triggered it? but why would it be so short? should I get the morning after pill tomorrow morning? im freaking out. my mind is going crazy...and I have been having cramps too...
What are you being treated for? Have you missed any pills? I'm confused about the timing. You experienced this within the last couple of days? Is that right?
