What is it?

I'm an 18 year old male

I haven't been sexually active for almost a year now.
About a month ago I got what appears to be a blister at the tip of my penis. It follows along one side of the opening to the  urethra. At First I feared herpes but the blister isn't round and hasn't popped on its own, as the internet says herpes blisters would. It's also just the one blister. It appears to be fluid filled sort of like blisters you'd get anywhere else. I can't really tell if it's gotten any better since appearing (I want to say that it seems smaller but this could be wishful thinking). It isn't painful, at all. There is some redness. Other than that I don't really know how else to describe it. Anyone got any ideas?

Since you have not had sex for almost a year, this does not seem to be std related.  The only thing you can do is see a doctor and get tested for peace of mind.
