Whats the odds

I’m a male 18 years old. I had oral sex during the summer (received and gave) to a girl same age. We did not use a condom for oral sex and oral sex is the only thing that we did. I have not done any other sexual activities in my life other from this incident. I have not experienced any symptoms of any std’s for the past six months. I have had no bumps, warts, rashes, burning urination, redness, discharge, or anything of that matter. I asked the girl if she had any std’s and she said no. To cancel my worries, I’ve been checked by many Doctors for any signs of std’s and they have seen nothing.  I recently got TESTED for all std’s except herpes ( I don’t know why?) and I get the test back in a week from this Tuesday. I get my HIV test in three weeks. I am most certain that I don’t have or hope that I don’t have anything.   Well I guess my question is what are the chances, why didn’t they test for herpes (and if I did get tested for herpes it we cost me 140 dollars for it..Why?) and how likely will it be if I do have an std that it would lay dormant for this long. HIV are usually the dormant std’s but many people say it unlikely to get it through orally. Background history on the girl: has a cheating boyfriend and she is too. Has kidney disorder and sometimes urinates blood but has had this since child and runs through the family she claims. More sexually partners: 4.

well thanks. I dont know? The health care place said that they would need to order extra tools for checking for herpes and if I really wanted to test for it, it would cost 140 bucks. They said it would be hard to check for it too if I didnt have any cold sores in the past months so I guess they have all the tools to test for all the std's except herpes?

Oh and your odds are probably slim to none of getting a STD from your encounter.

The only risk you had was gonorrhea, NGU, herpes and syphilis. From oral sex all is low risk and without symptoms you have nothing to worry about.

Why didn't they test for herpes??? You have to ask them. Why does it cost $140??? You have to ask them.
