Horrible fever after giving a *******.

Recently I started seriously meeting guys more and over the past week have given a ******* to two guys.
Both of them looked very clean, were around my age, and had no visible signs of anything on their penises.
However last night, my tonsils became VERY painful, swollen lymph nodes, chills, cold sweats, unbearable thirst, e.t.c. I also had a pimple around lip but I popped it...I don't think it's herpes if it can be popped? I apologize if this is disturbing as a guy speaking of giving other guys blowjobs, I'm only as worried as others on here. Anyways I took some tylenol cold medicine and am feeling MUCH better. Along with the symptoms I mentioned above, I am very careless on how I dress myself during these cold days, sometimes I just go out with a t-shirt and shorts on in like 40 degree weather...my mom says this is probably why I'm sick. Based on the symptoms and what I've said, would it be necessary to get tested? Just to be on the safe side? Please also include any insight or opinions. Thanks guys.

P.S - aside from those fever-like symptoms, I do NOT have any bumps or rashes anywhere on my body.

Agree with AJ, I was coming back here to advise you to use condoms, even for oral sex.

No apologies needed - anyone can post here, regardless of what gender their partners are.

You probably have a cold, but since you are concerned, why not get an throat swab for gonorrhea?

Couple things to note here - you can't tell by looking if someone has something.  I have herpes, and I promise I look just like everyone else.

Also, if you are old enough to have sex, you are old enough to take care of yourself, and that includes dressing appropriately for the weather, etc.  Being out in the cold doesn't cause colds itself, but it can weaken your system enough to not be able to fight it off.  It also includes being able to talk to your partners about stds, and using condoms.  I don't mean to sound all lecture-y, but its stuff that needs to be said.

Oral sex is pretty safe, but you can get gonorrhea, syphilis and herpes.
Symptoms do not match up to an STD.
