White bumps and discomfort

I am a female, 19 years old, very sexually active but monogomous.  My boyfriend has been gone for about a month now visiting his family and for some reason my untouched vagina has been acting odd.  I've been getting really thick white discharge and sometimes I will get uncomfortable wearing underwear because it's tight and irritating.  There is nothing on my vulva or anything directly like that but I do have 5 little red bumps with white on them.  They are very small and hurt when I tried to pop it (bad idea i know).  Anyone know what it might be? Please don't tell me I have an STD!

Sounds like a yeast infection, but see a Dr for proper diagnosis.
