Will Azithromycin affect my syphillis results

So, about two weeks ago I went and four STI testing because I was having painful urination, a very little discharge, and painful testicle. I had a chlamydia, gonorrhea, HIV test done. All of which came back negative. This was about a week and a half to two weeks after I had been exposed to my potential carrier. I reached out to them and told them my situation and they went and got tested as well.I thought that I wanted to get retested to make sure so I went back and had a second round of testing done for chlamydia, gonorrhea and then trichomoniasis. Again all of which came back negative. Then the person that I had had unprotected oral sex with contacted me saying that their test results came back positive for chlamydia and syphilis. Now I had taken a single dose of 1 g Azithromycin a few days prior. I want to go get tested for syphilis now to make sure but wanted to know if taking the anabiotic's will skew my test results to a negative when in fact they may be infected. It has been about four weeks now since potential exposure. I just am trying to make sure I am cleaned up and don't pass anything to anyone else.
