Years of suffering from rash on groin

At seventeen (I am now nineteen) I had some sexual contact with a girl, it hardly qualified as sex. Long story short 24 hours later I am frantically trying to figure out why my penis is red and itching worse than anything I have ever felt. I treated it with monistat and that worked well at first, but the symptoms returned so I went to the doctor (about a month after the symptoms began) and they tested me for stds-negative. The symptoms remained so I begged the doctor for something and they gave me fluconazole which worked great at first. I drink a lot and i don't know if that had to do with it not working after a while but the symptoms returned, this time less terribly. The rash spread to my scrotum and that has been the last two years of my life, getting cultures and biopsies and sputum tests and std tests and blood tests and nothing has worked. I feel my lower abdomen grow and grow, i watch as the red rash on my testicles spreads to the groin folds and as the red line on my stomach becomes more evident. I feel like a monster and all I want is for a doctor to help me. This rash is not very contagious, I have had unprotected sex with a girlfriend dozens of times. I believe I may have either contracted a yeast infection and then by medicating killed all the less resistant yeast leaving only the less virulent, more resistant ones, or I have some sort of erythrasma. I do not want to give up- i know there is something wrong with me. The girl who gave it to me had something funky going on down there. A friend who had sex with her told me the same, only he was circumcised to he just got a dry redness on his penis that went away after a week or so. What is wrong with me?

We can't really pin point what is wrong with you, you need to see a good good doctor about this.   It honestly does sound like chronic yeast or maybe its just poor hygiene (I know the following advice as I used to be very poor/homless.

If you think its poor hygiene then try showering and washing good down there (maybe twice a day for a little bit, at least once a day), also try wearing a new/washed underwear every day.

you've covered the std bases already. it sounds like you have been seen multiple times by multiple providers. not much we can do to help you. odds are you have chronic yeast and not a funky std or anything like that.

alcohol is a simple sugar and encourages yeast overgrowth.
