Yeast Infection, maybe?

Well I have posted a topic a week or so ago regarding a recently diagnosis of a male yeast infection. The symptoms and scenarios matched according to my doctor. The specifically located white patch/redness on the tip of my penis has not subsided even after following the treatment directed for me to do. Diflucan x 1( recently have taken a second one to see if it changes anything) monstat x3 daily for 2 weeks, selsun blue x1 daily for 1 week, and acidopholus x1 daily for 2 weeks. I have reached my 2 week point and nothing seems any different at all. I can not contact my doctor this week because he is off. I am just wondering how long this can take to clear up? An ex girlfriend I have recently had sexual relations with had recently been diagnosed with cervical cancer. I am not sure if what I have may be related to HPV? We had protected sex but unprotected oral sex. Just throwing that out there because any other partners I have had are clean. Also another thing to toss in there which seems a bit silly, I have  been drinking more then usual lately and can the yeast in beer thwart the efforts of my body fighting this "infection"?

Thank you!

It's most helpful if you just keep adding to your prior post. Otherwise we have to take the time to look it up.

It's only been a week - give it some time.  Fungal infections can be a booger to get rid of.   If you want a 2nd opinion while your doctor is out of town then by all means go and get one from someone.

Thank You. Would it be uncommon for this yeast infection to still be around? Or could it be something else? I can't even relate these symptoms to anything else.

I didn't read your other post, but your symptoms don't seem to be related to HPV.  Most HPV infections are asymptomatic in men, and if there are symptoms it is usually genital warts.  If your symptoms have not cleared up, go back to the doc and see what is going on.
Good luck,
Em
