I don't know what the hell is wrong....
Roughly 10 days ago I gave unprotected oral and had unproctected sex. Stupid I know, but we'd had a few drinks and I'd probably had more than I should have. Roughly 3 days after contact I started getting a SEVERE sore throat, and now have white spots litering the back of my throat. I had a tonsilectomy roughly 2 years ago, so those are there anymore. There are no other spots or sores that I can see. But over the course of the last 2 days I've gotten a severe ear ache and I can't seem so shake it. If I take 800mg of ibuprofen and 1000mg of Tylenol I can get the pain in my throat so subside some for the day. But it's really bad at night and in he morning.
I contacted our family doctor, and explained symptoms. She said it sounded like strep and ordered a Zpack telling me to take two pill for three days and see what happens. I've done this and the symptoms have not subsided at all, and seem to be progressively getting more intense.
Any thoughts?
