I'm making my partner sick!!

After sex with me every time, my partner develops a cold, cough, lathargic.  Literally with 24hrs.

Anyone have any idea what I could have that I'm passing onto him?  I've had all std test and all negative but something is clearly in my system that effects his immune system.  Also, this has happened with my previous partner.

Any ideas?

What would I do? Nothing -- because I would know it had nothing to do with any STD.

Re-read my reply above, which is intended to be helpful. Take it seriously.

That's my last comment. Good luck.

What would you do if everytime u had sex with your partner he became ill with a cold, cough, sore throat?

Seriously!!  What would u do?  No one has answers! I'm stuck.  Is it some rare infection you think?

I basically pass on the same symptoms as someone with hiv but I do not have HIV. It's really strange. I've see. Same reaction with previous partners. (And haven't had that many).

:-(. I just do not know what to do anymore.

You have been asking variations on the same questions for a couple of years. There are no STDs that cause the symptoms you have described, or that cause cold symptoms in partners. It's all coincidence, and perhaps also heightened anxiety magnifying minor symptoms or normal body sensations.

I'll also add that there is no infection of any kind, sexual or otherwise, that can start to cause symptoms within 24 hours. Every infection known to science takes at least 36 hours and generallly 2 days or more to cause the first symptom. There are no exceptions among STDs or anything else.

You are welcome to continue to ask questions on this forum as frequently as you like. But I can pretty much guarantee that you're never going to get answers significantly different that this one or the others you have had in other threads so far. The best I can suggest is that if you remain concerned, you continue to work with your own doctor about possible explanations. But in the meantime, there is absolutely no reason to fear that you or your partners have anything that will ever cause significant harm.

Good luck with it.
